Principal's Message - Feb. 7
Greetings, Elma Primary Families.
We are wrapping up Wellness Week here at Elma. Students participated in some wellness-themed activities in PE, shared announcements about the importance of building healthy habits, and enjoyed a Wellness Raffle, where names were drawn randomly for students to win sporting goods provided by our PTO. Thank you to our PE team and our PTO for making this week fun and meaningful for our students.
Our next PTO meeting will take place on Thursday, February 13th at 6:15 PM. Families can continue to look for updates regarding upcoming activities on the Elma Primary PTO Parent Facebook page. Tickets are still on sale for the PTO Meat Raffle Fundraiser on February 22nd. Please consider joining us for a fun night in support of our students.
A reminder that registration for Universal Pre-K and Kindergarten is now open! Please visit the Iroquois CSD homepage for information and to access links to begin the process.
For families interested in some fun during the mid-winter break, the ROC is sponsoring a Winter Free Play Series with indoor and outdoor activities for children ages 5-17 from February 17th-21st. More information on this can be found in our virtual backpack.
For families who pick up their children at the end of the school day, we ask that you please stay in your cars as your children load from the sidewalk side of the vehicle. This will allow for a safer and more efficient dismissal process. Drivers that need additional time to situate children can pull forward past the sidewalk to the east (cafeteria) lot when a staff member signals for the line to move forward.
Thank you, as always, for your partnership and support.
Have a great weekend!
