Principal's Message - February 28th
Greetings, Elma Primary Families!
We’ve enjoyed reconnecting with our students this week and hearing about the fun they had over the mid-winter break. We have settled back in nicely, and as I visit classrooms, I continue to see our students participating in a variety of engaging learning experiences and having fun doing it.
Thank you to all the volunteers and families who joined us to make the February 22nd PTO Meat Raffle a huge success. Funds raised from the evening will go to supporting special programs and field trips, activities, and equipment for Elma Primary students.
This week, K-3 students enjoyed participating in Tae Kwon Do lessons during PE classes. If you are interested in signing your child up for additional World Class Tae Kwon Do classes with some of the proceeds going to support our PE program at Elma Primary, there is more information posted in our virtual backpack.
A reminder that next week Thursday, March 6th will be an early release day. We will begin dismissing students being picked up at 11:35, and buses will depart at noon. If there will be a change in your child’s dismissal plan, please send in a note. Also, school will not be in session on Friday, March 7th due to a Superintendent Conference Day.
Thank you, as always, for your partnership and support. Have a great weekend!
