Principal's Message - March 14th
Greetings, Elma Primary Families.
Thank you to all who joined us for our PTO meeting this past Thursday. We discussed upcoming events, including the PTOs Spring Fling, taking place from 6:30 to 8:00 on Friday, March 28th. This will be an evening for all Pre-K to 3 students and their families with music and dancing, snacks, a photo booth, and a family-friendly movie in the cafeteria. We look forward to seeing you there.
Fliers have been sent home with information about the PTO’s TSG fundraiser. A portion of sales from 3:30 to 8:00 PM at TSG on Thursday, March 20th will be donated to the Elma Primary PTO for anyone who shows the flier or mentions Elma Primary.
Our PTO is also in need of leaders for next year. All executive board positions are open. If you have questions or are interested, please reach out to our current PTO officers at elmaprimarypto@gmail.com . Nominations for new officers will be put forward at our April PTO meeting.
A reminder that registration for Kindergarten is open. Please visit the Iroquois CSD homepage for information and to access links to complete the process. If you have friends or family who live in Elma and have children turning 5 by December 1st, 2025, they are eligible to register.
It is hard to believe that we are already two-thirds of the way through the 2024-25 school year, but our second trimester has come to a close. Report cards will be sent home to families on Friday, March 21st.
The Kindness Project continues to thrive at Elma. Every day, we are recognizing students for going out of their way to do something nice for someone else. If you are in for a visit, be sure to take a look at our Kindness Caterpillar, which continues to grow each day.
