June 7 - Principal's Message
Greetings, Elma Primary Families.
What a great week we have had at Elma! The highlight, of course, was yesterday’s Field Day. Once the weather cleared, it was a perfect day for our students. Thank you so much to all of our organizers and volunteers, and also to Mrs. Sonricker and Ms. Lisitsky for all they did to make this a special experience for our students.
With less than 10 full days of school left, we have a lot going on over the next couple of weeks. On next Tuesday, June 11th, our kindergarten students will give their end-of-year performance. Families are invited to join us for the show at 1:15, with doors opening at 1:00. Our 4th graders and 2nd graders are looking forward to their field trips on Thursday, June 13th, and we will have our annual Flag Day celebration with students on Friday, June 14th. Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue on this day.
A reminder that today, June 7th is an early dismissal day. We will begin releasing students who are being picked up at 11:35, and buses will depart at noon.
